Welcome to the Carrigan directory.   This directory contains information on Carrigans and close relatives.   A great deal of this information was obtained with the help of Helen (Tronerud) Carrigan, wife of Dewey Carrigan.   Included here is a GEDCOM structured genealogy created with Family Tree Maker software, and converted for use here with GEDLiving by Randy Winch, and GED2HTML by Gene Stark.   (I recommend all three packages).

We have some written history that I am sure everyone will enjoy.   The   Renville County Carrigan History   details the early exploits of the Carrigans in Boon Lake Township of Renville County, Minnesota.   We have also included some individual family histories.   Check them out.   The 'Captured by the Indians' story is a true account of Minnie (Buce) Carrigan's experience from the 1862 Sioux Uprising in Minnesota.
